Kimberley trip 2015 - a day at the rock. Uluru.

The campground is definitely not my kind of camping. Had I known about the power station I would not have camped here but we've managed to do 2 loads of washing and have had showers even if they were luke warm.

The campground was packed and people started getting up really early to do the drive in to the national park to see the sunrise. We will do this tomorrow. We are now waiting in line to get into the national park and are going to do the base walk. It costs $25 per adult for a 3 day pass, the minimum pass. Kids under 15 are free.

Sam had been really excited to see the rock and spoke to his sister's over the phone telling them ask about it.

Wow what an awesome experience! Being so close to the rock and taking the time to do the base walk was really worth it. It is hard to explain and hard to get in pictures but i tried my hardest to do so. You just have to experience it for yourself.
