 4WD ACTION ADVENTURE

Gary Sam and I are off on an adventure with Australia 4WD action magazine.  Just in the landcruiser packed up for a week but will only be gone one night.  Its overcast and a little bit drizzly but I cant wait!!

We all met at the Zig Zag railway carpark and took off in a convoy towards Newnes.  Stopped off a lot for photos, lining the cars all up for posing shots.  Gaz is having a ball - its great to see him grinning like a little kid.

We were supposed to camp at Newnes but about 500m short of the campground a huge tree blocked our way so we had to head back to search for a campground.  One was absolutely disgusting littered with broken bottles and cans.  Whilst taking a look a patrol got stuck on a log and had to be highlifted off.  Gaz Sam and I went for a tiki tour and found another area we could all camp - turned out to be the perfect spot!!

Was great to get everything unpacked and camp set up.  The boys from QLD donated some diesel to get the campfire going.

The rain stopped in time for camp to be set up and then stayed away - just a couple of drops throughout the night.

We woke up to the sun shinning and breakfast being cooked for us - bacon and egg rolls - yum!

Had a nice leisurely pack up and off onto the dirt tracks again.  Gaz is LOVING this, he's right in his element

Im sitting on a log while he's helping change a tyre that was spun off the rims trying to get unbogged.  Sam is fast asleep in the car.  All the boys are gathered around the wheel being changed and having a great time.  I've taken so many photos and cant wait for the magazine to come out with the professional shots.
