Macquarie woods to Florida Rest area. -31.3156S 146.2105E Between Nyngen and Cobar.
Packed up without even having coffee or breakfast. Stopped at Orange MacDonalds for breakfast. Still cold and overcast. Hopefully we are driving away from the clouds. We stopped for a lunch stop between Trangie and Nyngen. The sun was shining and finally we got to try out the outside kitchen! A nice cup of coffee and some tuna sandwiches whilst Sam rides around on his bike - was great!
Driving North the clouds start disappearing and its getting warmer. We fill up with fuel in Nyngen and turn onto the Barrier Highway to our next night stop. Just a rest area but red dirt/dust and nice skies. A bit of firewood for a campfire and we are set. We manage to heat water in a rbbish bin next to the fire and Sam has his first camp bath in a big yellow tub - Awesome photo taken of this and Gary's fire tree set up.
