Lightning Ridge to Roma

Actually about 10km south of Roma a spot about 100m off the road in the scrub. We left the Ridge around 10.30am and headed towards Roma. We had decided that a good time to stop and look for a camp was between 3pm and 4pm so at 4pm we found our spot. Gaz dug a pit for our camp fire whilst I made spaghetti bolognaise for dinner.

We got some bad news that max had been run over and killed so that put a damper on the night. We got phone calls from the girls so told them about max. We had a port for max that night before bed.

Sam had a bath he loves his baths! Then he snuggled up in his octanauts blanket with his daddy and crashed out. Getting warmer as we head north although still chilly at night.

Love having a camp fire where we stop. There was some gorgeous aromas coming from the wood we were burning very fragrant possibly a tea tree or similar.

We left the trailer hooked up to the trailer as we decided we were going to have a quick get away in the morning. Next destination Emerald.
