Vrilya point to Canal creek

Had a cruisy pack up day after bacon and eggs for breakfast and we were on the road by 11 am. Got to the log bridge at crystal creek and found it a bit more challenging crossing the other way. A couple of other cars towing trailers went through before us, they had some others helping guide them across. We had the same crew guiding us across. Had to back up and get the line better so the trailer didn't fall ink a hole.

The next guy after us drove over towing a boat and took out a few logs off the bridge so we stated to help fix the bridge with him and the others that had been helping to guide everyone over. The we made sue they got across and continued in towards canal creek.

We again keyed in the gps co-ordinates otherwise it would have just been guess work as to which track to take to get back on the telegraph track.

We made it through SAMs creek again no problems and then on to Canal creek where we set up camp around 3 pm. I felt relaxed again being back in the bush and near water we could swim in. We had an early dinner of beef stroganoff and pasta (dinosaur necks for Sam).

We had been thinking we might stay a couple of night and cruise up to the falls but it looks like we are moving on .
